216 Math:
The Monday after the break, students will have another opportunity to take the chapter 4 test. How it will work: If students earn a higher score on the re-test, the old score will be replaced. If they somehow earn a lower score, the old score will remain.
*How do I get ready? Practice for IXL: H1 through H12. Practice practice practice these skills. Use a pencil and paper. Write your steps down. Many of these types of problems will be on your re-test!

Paragraph 1: What were the most important
moments of your life in 2013? Make sure you have one main topic sentence. The
other sentences will support your statement.
Paragraph 2: What news events stand out to you
as some of the years most memorable? Make sure you support your opinion.

Complete the worksheet pages 4-5.
Take a look at the poetry contest on
the bottom of p. 5. Deadline is January 24th!
