Complete SL 3-5

6th Math:
Redo your quiz for sections 2-1 through 2-3.  If you turn in your revised responses Thursday (no other day!), then I will replace your old quiz score with your new one.

Monday, October 27th

4th Math:
Complete SL 3-3

5th Math:
Complete SL 3-1

6th Math:
Log on IXL and complete ten of the problems from each of the following skills: W-4 through W-7.
Make sure you write down the problem, your work, your answer and whether your answer is correct or not.  You should complete at least 40 problems.

Keep practicing multiplication and division of fractions.  Your quiz for sections 1-3 is on Friday.
Make sure you complete the practice quiz BEFORE you check the answers on the back of it.

Chapter 2 review (for Thursday test):

 In your math journal, make sure you complete and practice the following items:

P. 33 (partial-sums), p. 35 (trade-first subtraction)

P. 43 - which is greater: 50%, 3/5, 4/9, 0.4

Convert 0.15 to ____%. Convert 6/8 to ____%.

P.31 #2 and #4, p.37-38, p.39 #4 (write in expanded notation). p.41, p.47-48, p.50-51, p.53 #2a and 3.

After your test Thursday, I am going to collect and grade your math journals.

6th Grade:

Complete the 2.2 Exercises pages 67-69.  EVEN problems only.

Practice Multiplication!  Get on IXL!  Make and practice your multiplication that you need to practice!

Redo the 2.1 - Multiplying Fractions worksheets.  Make sure you have review/modify all problems that need correcting.

6th Grade:
Complete the 2 page 2.1 - Multiplying Fractions worksheet.

4th Grade:
Complete SL 2-8

6th Math:
Today, you were given the a "Test B".  It has problems very similar to what you will see on your chapter test Tuesday.  Practice practice practice!  Work on reducing the amount of time required to answer each problem.  I would expect that everyone is using their worksheets, practice test and your quiz results to prepare for Tuesday's Chapter 1 test.
